Max Kibardin's Denim & Swarovski Crystal-Studded Heels Are $2194... And Probably Worth It

$2194, Max Kibarin, Luisaviaroma.com
I am not in the habit of spending $2194 on a single pair of shoes. But I could start to get into that habit for a pair of Bruno Magli creative director Max Kibardin's denim and Swarovski crystal-studded heels. Any heels that feel like 1980s Madonna reincarnated as footwear is pretty much guaranteed to be something I'd wear. Seriously. As a rule, I like to ask myself "Do these shoes look like 'Desperately Seeking Susan' in the form of a stiletto"? If yes, then I'm wearing them.

And now, please enjoy this highly intriguing, highly nude photo of Kate Moss wearing nothing but a pair of guitar stilettos (they actually work) created by Max Kibardin and Chicks On Speed... and her personality.

Me, when I got out of the shower the other day.

This Young, Inspired & Proper Inverted Cross Studded Vest Inspires All Sorts Of Jewish Guilt In Me

$290, Young Inspired And Proper, StantonJames.com
If if weren't for my own Jewish guilt and the fact that Ellen, my own Jewish mother (hi, Ma!) would KILL me, I'd be all over this inverted cross vintage denim vest by Young, Inspired And Proper.
I guess I could pretend it's an abstract arrow, or an upside-down bird with an invisible coming in for a landing. Maybe she'd make an exception since it IS Madonna's birthday, and this vest is SO Madonna. Well, Madonna before she became all fakey, co-opted Jewish.

I Actually Didn't Buy These Shoes. For Once.

($99.99, Modcloth.com)
My darling coworker, MTV Twitter Jockey Gabi Gregg, who also runs Young, Fat and Fabulous, had on a great pair of studded boots. I was like, point blank: I'm buying those. Until I realized I own about seven pairs of black boots. At which point nly my spotty, waning sense of financial propriety kept me from buying these really fun studded boots from ModCloth. Ugh. I hate being a grownup sometimes.

By the way, LOTS more stuff to post from the Lucky FABB Conference, great stuff I bought, etc. Silly work keeps getting in the way though! I was on a social media panel, like a fancy person, and I did a bunch of radio press about the Grammys today. So if you live in Arizona or Alaska and heard someone blabbering about bloody Lady Gaga, that was me. And if you're interested in Britney Spears, well we're premiering her video on MTV.com on Thursday. DAMN YOU, BRITNEY! FOR KEEPING ME FROM FASHION BLOGGING!

Discount Vs. Designer: Matiko Does Christian Louboutin's Rollerball Studded Loafers!

Christian Louboutin, or, as Paris Hilton likes to say, Christian Loubuiton's studded Rollerball loafers have been on my fantasy fashion wish list for a fortnight. Obviously, since they're a grand, they're staying in the realm of the virtual and not the actual. BUUUUT, thanks to Matiko, a less-bad-ass version -- their "Leila" studded loafers -- could be mine for just $119. And guess what? THEY WILL! Just try and WATCH me not buy 'em!

($995, Christian Louboutin, Saks)

($119, Matiko, Solestruck.com)

And Christian Louboutin's Zebra Pack studded loafers will top my fantasy fashion list probably forever. They're like the late, great Mark Bolan in shoe form.

These Brown Bess Studded Moc Boots Are My Achilles' Heel

($374, Bess, Ssense.com)
Stick a fork in me. I'm done. These studded Bess boots are my downfall. I do have to say though, I'm hitting a wall with the studded stuff. I own a studded handbag, studded trench, and boots with studs, they're in constant wardrobe rotation, and never the three shall meet. It's more than enough, you know?

Angel Jackson Bags Are Like TO DIE

You might wanna put on a diaper before you check out these studded leather bags, because you're surely shit yourself. They're by the sister act Katie and Millie Smith who design the marvelous Angel Jackson line of bags and belts. WANT.

($293, Angeljackson.co.uk)
Love the snakeskin, studs, '80s brights, and Chanel-inspired chain strap of the Disco Jack bag.

($246, Angeljackson.co.uk)
Snakeskin AND jaguar = two marauding members of the animal kingdom perfectly represented on one studded bag.

And, finally, a studded bag for A LOT less:
($72.99, Modcloth.com)
I got this from Lulu's, but I think they're sold out there. I've yet to use it, because I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the Eryn Brinie bag below (which wasn't worth the full price but definitely worth the sale price, but it's a whole lotta bag and would look pretty cute with an all-black outfit, since it's pretty noisy all on its own.
